I like my order. I don't do well with change. I write down everything... you know? I am one of those people.
So every morning I have a routine... obviously.
I wake up... brush my teeth... make a quick breakfast that is usually fruit and half a yogurt... and head to the gym.
I come back... shower... make a post-workout meal... and eat while I check my email, check my blog, check my facebook, and check my blog list to see what excitement has happened in the blogworld :)
And waalaaa... my day is ready to start!
So today during my routine... it dawned on me (well actually this thought has been haunting me for a while, so rather it became a reality as it will happen soon!) that I am going to start my internship next week and a new routine will have to be made. Aka... I will be working long days... starting with early mornings... with traveling, hotel stays, and overtime.
Am I excited!??!! HECK YES!
But as I said before... I like routine. I don't like change..... etc.
And so this is going to be a challenge. When will I need to wake up? When will I work out? What am I going to eat for meals? How does being a "business women" work?! I don't know the answers to these.... and that is going to drive me nuts until I do! So I will keep you posted.... until then... I am just going to stress about it. I would be lying if I said otherwise :)
So this morning... I woke up... combined a cut up apple with half a Carbmaster Vanilla Yogurt.. with a tablespoon of Peanut Flour.... and walked to the gym to do my regular cycle and yoga.
WARNING: TRADER JOES PEANUT FLOUR IS BEING DISCONTINUED!!!!
No worries for me though... my Dad and I traveled around Southern California trying to find it... and after three stores... and five calls later... Huntington Beach had 8 left! Did I buy all 8?!?! Tempting. But I thought my roommates would probably kill me if the freezer was half full of just peanut flour... so I rationalized it down to 3 :)
When I got home... I showered.... made a two eggwhite protein 'puff' and a healthy version coffee frap (ice cubes, 1 tablespoon instant coffee, 1 tablespoon coca powder, 1/4 scoop vanilla protein... BLENDED)...
and checked my email... checked my blog... checked my facebook.. and checked my blog list.
Seeee.... I like routines! And I will do it again tomm :)
Last night, I impressed myself! I tried a new recipe I found on a blog (I would give that blog credit, but to be honest I don't remember what blog it was... but nonetheless... it isn't my own creation)
Green Stuffed Pepper
- 1 medium green pepper cut in half
- Spinach
- Onion
- 1 eggwhite
- meat of choice (I used a veggie burger)
- Pepper
1. Combine ingredients in a bowl minus the green pepper.
(I heated up the veggie burger on the stove first and then cut it into small pieces before adding it to the mix)
2. Fill the peppers with the mixture
| The before |
3. Cook at 400 for 40 minutes
| The After |
I finished up with a peanut buttery dessert!
In the blender went:
- Half a frozen banana
- Ice cubes
- 1/5 serving Vanilla Protein
- 2 T Peanut Flour (what would I do without you?!?!)
- Vanilla Almond Milk
Happy Sunday! Enjoy the Day!
