You and your roommates are asleep by 10:00pm.
Ohhhh wait... that isn't how it goes.
I could tell you that I am your typical college student who goes to bed at the latest hour, and who avoids morning classes to sleep in and let the hangover wear off.
But if we are all being honest here, I am the one who is in bed by 10pm, loves getting up at 4:45am, doesn't miss a day in the gym, and enjoys just sitting at home relaxing with friends.
With that said, yess... I know I am in college when... my roommates and I are asleep by 10pm.
This morning I woke up to my usual 4:45am alarm for Thursday cycle at 24 hour fitness. It is the best! I may be the youngest person there, and the only one there that isn't going to work right after, but I love going and catching up with my "cycle" friends. It is honestly a great start to the day. An hour of cycle, 15 minutes of abs, and 15 minutes of yoga. By the time I get home it is 7am, and look! I have already gotten my workout in for the day, and my roommates aren't even awake yet! :)
Before I left in the morning I had a delicious banana, and when I came home from the gym made myself some oatmeal with low-fat soy milk! Yum! HINT: Try making oatmeal in a mug, it helps maintain your portion control.
And to school I went, bringing along some carrot cake lowfat yogurt (my FAV! only 60 cals, 1.5g fat, and 3g sugar, 4g carbs, 8g protein), and an orange (that I got from a tree outside... delicious!). Did I mention, I love school? But really! I do! Feel free to call me a nerd ;)
Thursdays = A Friday for me. Let the weekend begin! But not too fast! I still have to tutor, scope out a potential venue for the Accounting Society Banquet we are putting on in May, attend the Accounting Society meeting, and tutor again tomorrow. Then let the weekend beginnnnn!
