Headed Home.

I use to think I would never miss home.
I thought I would go to Southern California for school and never think twice about my Colorado home.
But boy ohhh boy do I miss it sometimes! It is so true... you always want what you can't have. Don't get me wrong, I love SoCal and want to start my career and life out here, but when there is a reason to go home for a weekend, I am defiantly saying YES!

My little brother is a stud (I know, we all knew this:), but to reiterate, he is pretty awesome, and his basketball team has been ranked #1 in Colorado all throughout season this year! So my mom called me a few weeks ago to see if I wanted to come home during the state semi finals and finals this year to hopefully watch my brother. At first I was a little nervous, I didn't want to jinx the Pman (aka my bro). But nonetheless, like I said, I would never decline I trip home. So I got online and found tickets out of this little airport in Long Beach into this little airport in Colorado Springs. Long story short... I found really sketchy tickets for really cheap...so what the heck! ofcourse I bought them!

And sooo... tomorrow I leave for Colorado to spend a couple of days at home with my fam, and hopefully (everyone cross your fingers) I get to watch my little brother dominated in the State Championship game on Saturday! This trip home couldn't come at a better time! After the last two weeks of midterms and projects, a nice "relaxing" time away from my Cali home will be nice!

As a side note: I FINALLY got my microwaved "air popped" popcorn to work!
I loveeee popcorn! But the microwaved popcorn you buy from the store is no bueno. With all the stuff they have packed in them, it is just one of those things I refuse to eat. So I found this technique online that said you could pop kernels in a brown bag, and I have been trying and time and time again I only was able to get a few to pop. But look at this bag full of popcorn.... Woohoo!
