Guess that is what happens when you go to bed at 9:30pm the night before :)
I relaxed and laid in bed until 5am when my alarm told me it was time to finally get out of my comfy warm bed and get ready to cycle.... But before I left the house.... I had to make my ANTS ON A LOG!

| Please disregard my horrific picturing taking skills :) |
It was a good thing I took cycle today... I was having one of those 'I don't really want to work out today' days... but the BEST thing about classes are that they make you stay... So I got a decent work out in despite the fact I wasn't really feeling it.
When I got home, I could sense my body craving some protein so I made a real quick protein cookie:
- Small scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
- Teaspoon of Peanut butter
- Just enough water to make it a dough like texture
- And zap it for 15 seconds...
Hit the spot!
Most people hate grocery shopping. My roommate always tells me she would love to pay someone to do her grocery shopping for her. But not me. I love it for some reason! You walk in, and it isn't like you can walk out empty handed, therefore, every trip is successful to some extent. And success is always fun! Maybe I should be the person people pay to grocery shop?! Now there is an idea!
So today I stopped by the market on my way home from class. Didn't get anything too super exciting.. but I got everything on my list! Has anyone else noticed how much food prices have increased?! It may just be me because I think numbers and finance all the time due to the way my brain works... but HOLY COW! It is slightly ridiculous!
On a happier note: I made a delicious lunch today with a new recipe dessert I tired!

| Banana Oatmeal Cookie |
Few Ingredients. Simple Directions. I was all about this.
Banana Oatmeal Cookie for ONE:
- 3/8 cup oatmeal
- half a smashed banana (the other half of my banana from this morning)
- 3 Tablespoons water (could use almond, soy, or regular milk)
- Half a packet of Sweetener *optional
- Any additions you would like... chocolate chips.. walnuts... etc. I choose Raisins. (I had some leftover from this morning)
Preheat oven at 380. Cook for 15-20 minutes. I just used a small one-person baking dish. But a bread dish would work as well. Just make sure whatever you use is 1. oven safe and 2. non-stick or sprayed... you want to be able to get your cookie out :)
I was very impressed with how delicious this came out for what little was needed to make it! I most definitely recommend trying it.
Well off to some meetings!
Almost the weekend! Yay!

You would have grossed out had I offered any of those options to you when you were growing up! They all look so good! I'm going to have to try that cookie thing. Looks easy...something I can handle :)
