I LOVEEEE Popcorn! But not the buttery, salty, or sweet popcorn you may be thinking of. I LOVEEE the plain dry popcorn... popcorn with nothing on it!
A few days ago I expressed my excitement about how I finally got my brown bag microwaved popcorn to work. Usually I was having a up to 15 kernels pop, and finally I was able to get it up to half a bag full. WOW! I know!
So before I left home to come back to Cali, my mom surprised me with an AIRpopper Popcorn maker! And it arrived at my apartment TODAY!!!
So let me just say... Popcorn for lunch and dinner :) Indeed!

Basically... I am addicted.
Today was a chaotic day! From start to finish... there was little time to breath. It feels so good to take a few minutes to not do accounting, not talk Theta Finance, and not listen to a lecture. Ahhhhh....
Today started at the usual 5am and cycle. I made it home in time to take a quick shower, and rush off to my classes for the day. After class it was a quick trip to the market to get some necessary groceries... and then home to sit on my computer for three hours trying to figure out Theta finances as I did laundry in between. Laundry finished just in time to put it away, and then off I went to school to tutor. Two hours of tutoring flew by, and before I knew it, I was off to Theta Officer meeting. A few hours there, and then I headed home... to where my own homework was waiting for me....
Like I said... never a time to breath!
I was on my home however, and I called my Dad to complain.(Yes I admit it, I was calling just to complain) I was telling him all my frustration about how I didn't see the light at the end of the tunnel for all this work I had piled up to do. It is like once I accomplish one thing... I turn around to find I have another thing to do right away. I NEED the weekend to come! And my Dad, being the awesome man he is, calmed me down and told me this: "Always remember that things don't happen forever. There may not be a short term end to it, but nothing is going to happen forever." My Dad is the man who works three jobs to support my family, never has free time, but never misses anything important, and is there 110% for his kids. With that said, he also NEVER EVER complains! And of all the people I know, he is the one who has the right to. So after calling him to complain, I realized I was just being a baby. :) And all is good! The glass is back to half full!
Speaking of the bestest "D" in the world! It was his birthday yesterday. BIG 48!
